An inventory of the works of art from the Province of Sondrio, firts published in Rome in 1938, reprinted with a foreword by Maria Laura Meli Bassi, and reproducin the short article Per l'arte, first published in 1908 by Giustino Renato Orsini, drawing attention to the depletion of the local artistic and historical heritage, due to the ignorance of the local populace and of the more rustic part of the Clergy, and thanks to the astuce of uscrupolous art dealers.
