Reprint of a work concerning the many branches in which subdivided the ancient family Paravicini / Parravicini, whith a special attention to those established in Valtellina and abroad, first published in the Periodico Storico Comense in 1942. Its author Giustino Renato Orsini (1883-1964) could take advantage of his rich family archive, as the Orsinis inherited the estate of the Paravicini di Dazio, dead out in the male line at the end of the Eighteenth-Century and yet heirs during the last centuries of other branches of the House of Paravicini.
