Reprint of the fundamental repertoire of thousands of blazons of coats of arms of Florentine families, accompanied by both an index nominum and an index armorum to facilitate research, for which the illustrious French scholar drew from seven coats of arms preserved in public collections ranging from the year of Dante's expulsion (1302) to the 18th century.
