This work by the well-known Sabaudian heraldist Antonio Manno (1834-1918) deals with and exemplify with illustrations the Regio Decreto n. 234 of April 13, 1905, approving the heraldic and tecnical standards intended to be the rule to be adopted by the Consulta Araldica of the Italian Kingdom. It deals with the graphics of the coats of arms, from the shapes of the shields both male and female, to those of crowns and crests, and of every other exterior ornament of the shield.
